The Carneddau Mountains are right on our doorstep with Tryfan and Cwm Idwal 10 minutes’ drive away, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) a 20-minute drive. For those wishing to arrive on foot, The Slate Trail and Snowdonia Way pass nearby the bunkhouse.
We are located just 5 minutes away from Zip World; the longest and fastest zip line in Europe. There are numerous mountain-bike trails to enjoy nearby, while road cyclists can challenge themselves on the steep passes and exhilarating descents. For a more leisurely ride, Lon Las Ogwen cycle path is 5 minutes away, and extends up to Llyn Ogwen, or down into Bangor.
Bangor train station is 6 miles away.
