The Caban Gerlan provides an ideal location for spending time in the
hills - (see activities), but for other pursuits, why not try: -

• A day on the beach - the Angelsey beaches of Newborough or
  Malltraeth.
• A visit to Caernarfon or Conwy to explore the castles and other
  historic buildings
• A trip on the Snowdon railway or the Welsh Highland railway
• A visit to the Slate Museum and Electric Mountain in Llanberis
• A spot of birdwatching at the RSPB Conwy reserve followed by a visit
  to Bodnant Gardens.
